Approx. 5 km from the Malaysian-Thai border, 90 km east of Alor Star. From Alor Star, head east through the towns of Langgar, Pokok Sena and Kuala Nerang. The lake has the characteristics of a sea with both low tide and high tide. This man-made lake, is 75 sq km in area, is surrounded by primary tropical rainforests.
